December, 2003 (Christmas prophesy)

Dear Dads,

As Christmas approaches, you have a tremendous opportunity to use Bible prophesy to teach your children that Jesus is God. Also you can cover the amazing predictions of a virgin birth and the exact place where it would happen.

Key point for dads:

Teach your children that one of the ways we know the Bible is true is that some incredible events were predicted hundred of years before they happened. Only God can do this and be 100% correct.

Important Bible verses:

Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem ·. out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

("From ancient times" can also be translated "from days of eternity.")

Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

(Immanuel means "God with us.")

Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born ·. And he will be called ·. Mighty God, Everlasting Father"

(The New Testament is also very clear that Jesus is God in John chapter1, verses1 & 14.)
