DAD'S NEWSLETTER
February 2003 Hello Dads, Our children need to know, from an early age, to stay on the path in life that God has planned for them. We need to teach them, and then remind them when appropriate as they get older, that even veering a little from Godâs ways can result in great trouble ahead. The key point here for dads is: Our children need to know that God wants them to stay on the path that He intends for them, and to not even risk being a little bit off. A great Bible verse for this is: Proverbs 3:5-6 ãTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.ä As with Ephesians 6:1, I hope all your family will memorize these two verses. Please make sure your children know that the Ten Commandments and other Bible teachings are not there to ruin their fun but to protect and help them. Letâs make sure our children see us staying on the path that God has for us. Your brother in Christ, |
